The following websites are not currently in action because of various reasons. Typically because designs change every quarter but it is important to view projects that helped build the foundation of design. Various sites are listed below but not a full catalog of sites created over 10 years are listed. This is because of legal reasons or because they are no longer relevant to the living portfolio.

Phat Collectibles

As a comic book collector this project easily became one of my favorites, mainly because I was able to contribute to my local comic bookstore, and I was able to do so by creating their e-commerce website.
Our goal was to create an e-commerce solution for a store that had 4+ locations and wanted to expand. PHAT, as a brand, has an interesting sub-culture behind it, which also meant that we had to dig deep and appeal to their clients.

Applymap

A startup that I had the pleasure of working with at UCLA startups. It was a small team of talented people. Our aim was to find a solution for college students. The challenge that students face today is being able to apply to the college of their choice. The most challenging part for a student is not knowing how to improve their chances of getting into that college. Applymap calculated the chances of getting into a college based on students data. A complex program that used many algorithms to determine the best options. It had to be simple enough for a high school student to use but smart enough to give valid information.

Medroster

A medical chat app that communicates with patients, staff and doctors. My role in this project included defining the technical documentation, & creating UI/UX for both web/mobile apps. I also got my hands heavily into programming while building out the mobile application with a fellow Ruby programmer. We built most of the application in PhoneGap & jQuery mobile.
